Barry, Barney....
First of all to fight on the site makes nothing good come out of what both of you are trying to accomplish. Barry is happy with what he has, Barney is happy with what he has now. What's so bad about that? The only thing Jody and I wish is that Jody had been given the chance to update Barney's tunes from his 2+/- year old tunes to newer tunes Jody has done since his last chip update in 8/2007. We can't change that he chose to go a different route and won't condem him for it. No one here should either.

Guys, Diane is so right about the newer tunes. I thought my older ones were the best, now that I have the re-burns with the newer TC lock speeds, throttle response and a few other changes he's made, I'm having to watch how I drive until I get used to the extra power.
Now, let's get this guy tuned and feeling just exactly how much more power these engines have with a little "fine tuning".

Wow, I did not intend for this to happen. I just want my truck to run better. I dont know enough to be able to make the decision to go with one programmer or the other. I am just looking for a good price for tunes that meet my towing requirments. That's all.

Brother, you didn't make anything happen, we just all like what we own and that's cool. I will tell you that you can not begin to imagine the difference you will feel when you get custom tunes for your truck. I used to run the SuperChips and just recently had to run it again while having my DP-Tuner re-burned, and I had forgot just how much difference a custom tune makes. You get which ever one meets your needs and pocket book. Please continue to hang around and ask questions. That's how most of use got started on here. I read, ask and looked quite a while before deciding on any of my mods.

Hey it is all good. That is exactly why I like this site. Alot of good info, and some great opinions. I would have sold the Ford and have bought a Dodge Cummins if it was not for this site!

How big is the hill? If it's a big hill, go with something like the 40tow, if it's not so bit, the 60tow will do you nicely. Get the 80econ for everyday driving and fun. If you want more, there's plenty to be had.

It is hard to part with the chip for you to retune it. Which was kinda of the thing when I got big oil and later AC Stage II injectors.
OTOH, you have solved that issue with the F6. Someday, I will break down and sell my F5 and get an F6 so I can download the tune directly from you, try before you buy WITHOUT having to send it back, etc, etc.

We have always worked with situations where someone can not be without their chips and do a swap.
WE do offer the F6 upgrade offer now.
