5-Speed Questions...

Trouble is, it's intended to have a cable operated clutch, and I want to adapt it to the old tried & true mechanical linkage.
At this point I'm not real sure exactly what gearbox it is - here's a close up of the tag that was on it:

(The first four numbers/letters are: "E6ZR"
Any ideas and suggestions (other than wingin' it over the back fence) would be much appreciated. It's going into an '82 F-100 with a fresh 302.
how many miles on it? this will determine if it needs rebuilt.
Any thing over 50,0000 watch out for.
common problems: front input ext housing gets worn where throwout bearing rides. there was an ec to change housing to steel instead of allum.
front input bearing /wears because people don't replace pilot bearing when changing clutch
Also rear output shaft seals leak.
also chk the front yoke on your dr shaft for wear if excessive wear put new yoke and rear bushing in trans.
Not a bad price if its useable
good luck
