seat covers?

Anyone have any suggestions on seat covers (and pics?)??? I only got the XL with vinyl buckets... figured some nice seat covers would be one of the sooner mods to do. Do they make anything to fit the rear as well?

I just checked those out... a little pricey but they look worth it. So many combinations of colors and graphics... even heated seats... since I didnt get those with the truck maybe I should add em on! Be even sweeter if they were memory foam but I am guessing they arent.

Anyone here have a set? Any others to consider as well?

I 2nd that. I have them and the fit and finish are awesome. They also feel great on your skin when you wear shorts. I've had marathon covers, they are nice but the cordura material is rough on my old ladies legs. Gotta keep the old lady happy, ya know!!

I will third the vote for Wet Okole, if money is not a major factor.

As a second, I would suggest CoverCraft's Seat Savers. They are half the cost, and offer great durability & decent spill protection for your seats.

I looked into the marathon and covercraft too... thinking the wet okles still look best. I dont mind spending a little more if its worth a little more. I saved money on the truck by getting the XL but I plan on upgrading stuff over time and want to get the best stuff I can.

As far as durability what do you all think will hold up better over the years?

The other option is replacing the entire seat assembly. That might cost a bit more that I want to spend though. I would really want captains chairs with armrests if I could find them. I have the vinyl buckets but no armrests. Has the center console but thinking about removing it... want the ability for the passenger to be able to get to the back while were on the road for long trips... not sure yet... actually havent ever sat in the vinyl buckets yet (truck was ordered from factory - havent taken delivery yet) I think whatever I do I am gonna wait and see how I like em first. I just know the family probably wont like the vinyl so something is gonna have to be done sooner than later so I'm starting early on my research!

wet okoles definately take the cool factor but not sure how durable they are, covercrafts look almost like denim material so they should be very durable. Im not sure of the cleaning method with Okoles, i know with the CoverCrafts all you do is pull em off and throw them in the washin machine.

I can second the CoverCrafts. I spilled a half of cup of coffee on my lap ( OUCH ) last week and I couldn't believe my eyes when I wiped it all up with a rag and the coffee didn't leave a mark on the fabric. All in all I really like the durability of the seats. Only downside is that it isn't really a soft material at all - but it gets the job done

I know I have said this before on this site, but couldn't find it. Once I got into my truck with a screw driver sticking out of my back pocket and slid my rear a crossed the seat the blade of the screw driver dragged right across the fabric of the seat covers and didn't leave a mark. I would be very worried if I did that with neoprene styled covers. I am extremely happy with my Marathon covers and would but them for every truck I will own from now on.
