valley pan cleaning?
hello, the motor and valley pan is real greasy and dirty on this 97 and is it ok to sray some engine degreser on and hose it off when shes cold? or will this be done some other way with all this computer stuff every where. thanks for any help, i just put a new k&n filter in and it sounds way better i think the old filter was way clogged up.

Simple Green is good, Brake cleaner works also, Just don't use PRESSURE, It's OK if the engine is warm to the touch but NOT HOT. You'll be OK.
