Loose steering
Several items can cause loose steering. Anything from a worn rag joint, to improperly adjusted steering box, to poor steering components.
You will have to perform some simple troubleshooting to determine what is loose.
Have someone turn the steering wheel from left to right while you look at the entire ssteering system. You will notice any irregular movement and verify worn parts that require replacement.
PLEASE...when asking question, list all the pertinent info.
In this case:
Year, series, with or without P/S, 2WD or 4WD.
btw: A rag joint is a rubber/metal steering coupler. Attaches the steering column's shaft to the gearbox.
4WD, it's a steering shaft and coupler assembly.
