Power steering rag joint problems
I have a 1977 F-100, 300-6, 3 speed on the column with power steering that I bought new 32 years ago. The power steering box is starting to leak so i was going to replace it. I went to Napa and got a new one and when I got the new one in, my RAG joint would not go on. The splines on the new one would not line up with my rag joint. They appeared to be kind of rounded off. I returned to NAPA and they tried my rag joint on every one they had, same story. Can someone tell me where to get a steering box that will work or where to get mine rebuilt? I live in San Diego, CA.
