Question Problem with fuses? Not sure?

The inside lights on my '03 F150 Lariat 4x4 don't work as they should. When you open the door, there is no light coming on in the front seats, overhead, or doors. The only inside lights that come on are in the back seat. Surely there are supposed to be more lights than that when you open the doors. Is this a fuse problem? If so which fuses should I check? Can't seem to find the right ones according to the owners manual. Thanks.

Does the inside light work when you rotate the Headlamp/park/ switch full counter clockwise? Should be a little 'click' there too... if not, bad bulb.

Have you sprayed the door latch with WD40? If not, try it....spray a lot in there...all doors. Maybe the little switch in there is not popping out when you open the door. Ot the switch is bad...it's replaceable.

Exactly where do I spray wd40 on my door? By the inner or outer handles, the hinges, where? Also, The overhead lights have a switch to cut them on and off over the driver side or the passenger side. They work with the switches but shouldn't they cut on when you open the doors? Also the lights on the inside door itself don't come on. Shouldn't they cut on when you open the doors too?

OK so I soaked the outer door handles (all 4) with wd40 and it seems to work for now. The few lights that would stay on and my bed light are now going off as soon as I lock the truck. Thanks for the quick fix. Much appreciated.

Now my problem is the lights coming on. The overhead lights inside the truck come on fine if you hit the button next to it on driver side and passenger side. So the bulbs are working fine. I thought that maybe they should come on when you open the truck doors. The only lights that come on are the back seat lights and the bed light. Also lights in the inside doors should come on. Gonna make sure those bulbs are working now.

OK figured out the problem here. There are 3 bulbs that go in the overhead light. Passenger side, driver side and one in the center. Well it's missing. So now how do I find what bulb goes in there?

Try some of the other bulbs and see if they fit. If they do, then you have something to go by when you go to the store.
