High idle Mod
I have looked over the diagram on here as to how to perform the high idle mod but i am not following it for some reason..maybe i am having a brain fart but can someone explain this thing to me....

what year is your truck and what part of it are you stumped on?

2004 f250..I might be overthinking this as it seems it should be alot more than just conecting the two wirs to a switch unless i am just being an idiot here. i idle alot and need to do this mod. Thanks for you guys help..

Yes, you are overthinking it. That's all it is. The truck's computer already has this programmed into it for aftermarket PTO's (Power Take Off) to be added by aftermarket installers. These trucks are used for ambulances, tow trucks, and utility trucks. Ford made it easy to just put the truck into high idle mode by allowing installers to supply 1 wire with +12v.
