Will a C4 Hold Up?
I have come across a bit of a crossroad. Here is my situation, I have a 77 Bronco that I am starting to rebuild. It has a 302 with a C4. The motor runs well now, but when I tear it down to restore the bronco I plan on swapping it with a 351w. Currently the transmission has several fluid leaks and needs a rebuild. Will a C4 hold up to a 351w with a few mods? I dont want to sink money in a transmission that I wont be able to use with the 351w. Should I rebuild the C4 or upgrade and try and find a C6 and rebuild it?

the c-4 is a very stout trans with the right mods.adding more cluthes a larger servo and setting the end play ,and a very good shift kit will help to ghet the trans the way u want it.the c-4 has been built to handle in exsess of 1000 hp.
