I had to go back and read some of your posts about the pinging problem.
Have you tried using cooler spark plugs? From the previous post you stated that there was a "hot spot" on the plugs, a lighter color spot than the normal on one side of the plug. The reason I suggest that is that the plugs may be retaining more heat rather than disapating the excess heat to the engine head. If there is a spot retaining more heat than any other spot the cylinder, it could lead to pinging in the combustion chamber.
I didnt think I said that, Someone else did. I did try colder plugs, NON-Platinum Plugs, I tried everything. The clatter will stop if I use Super Unleaded, but it still does not have the power it should on take off's and it really seams to strain at about 80mph, it clatters to get there.
OK How about this, Is there a difference between the 5.0 and the 5.8 injectors, I found a site but they only show the injectors for the 5.0 and the 7.5
Have a look on ebay, some members here havs said they got good deals on injectors. However if you want the best go to fiveomotorsport.com and have a look.
