what front end do I have
Hi guys. I have an 86 F250 with the IFS front end. Ive been told that this truck comes with a Dana 44HD and a dana 50. I have the front end apart and need to buy parts for it. It has 30 spline axleshafts that neck to 1.30 inches if that helps any. What is the differance between the 44HD and the 50? Thanks

the d50 was used in the heavy duty f250s and the d44hd was used in light duty f250's, the d44hd is pretty much a d44 with 8bolt pattern and a little stronger axle shafts.
