well i got bored and took my diamond plate box out and put in 2 side boxes(bed rail) and built a stack it cost me $10 plus tax i had some flex pipe and some metal to make the adapter layin around. its just exhaust pipe from a semi i got from the heavy truck junk yard and painted it with the hi temp paint
Now just wait till the rain comes down good, and your windows will be black, along with the rest of the cab and/or bed depending on which direction the the wind blows Looks good tho, is it a 4" stack? How did you plumb it under the bed?
Where they split is a Y made from 2 - 90 degree ells cut and welded back together instead of a Tee that would have the exhaust running into the top of the Tee causing more restriction.
Wait till you fire it up after a rain storm.
Soot on everything close, more on the down wind side.
Most guys I know running stacks like that drop cans or plastic bottles over the stacks when they park.
The soot usually just makes a mess, but I have seen some light colored paint stained by soot.
No need in paying for a trip to the paint shop for the car parked beside your truck.
Almost forgot, this setup....any stack setup in the bed needs something to keep things from sliding into them.
I have seen several lunch boxes, a couple water coolers and a few tool boxes, plastic of course, melted when thery slid into the stacks while driving.
Big load up a steep hill, that pipe will be over 800 degrees where it comes through the floor and almost that hot out at the vertical stacks.
If you slide the side boxes back, you may be able to mount the diamond plate box at the front of the bed again.
its 5" all i did was cut a hole the same size as stock pipe in a piece of steel plate and welded a piece of stock exhaust pipe over the hole i cut then welded the stack to the opposite side of the plate drilled a hole in the bed dropped it down and ran flex pipe to the stock exhaust because of the cab and bed flex
What size is that and How hard would it be to run 2 instead of 1?
running 2 shouldnt be too hard best way would be to get a piece of steel tube as a crossover pipe.but you really dont need 2 honestly you will pretty much only smoke out of one and it will look funny i think
If you look at the picture I posted, the Y divides the exhaust and smoke evenly.
Even though the pipe from the engine is on the passenger side, both stacks smoke evenly.
That is how I made mine, but since I have a dump bed the Y and stacks are in front of the headboard.
Two 90 degree ells, cut and welded back together to make the Y with 3" openings at all three ends.
If you use a flat T fitting, then you may have uneven smoke from the stacks and will definitely have higher back pressure.
