turbo boost can vary with load and driving conditions. I also think that where you live may play are part of it to based upon altitude. I have maxed it out on the guage (40 psi) a couple of times pulling really hard, but generally 30-32 psi is aout what I see.
Fuel mileage is just too hard to really pin down, 2 wd vs 4wd is going to be different along with your driving habits can really make a difference.
stay off the boost and keep your rpms below 2k is going to yeild the best mpgs.
As mentioned above drive her easy and on flat ground and at or below 70mph and i get 17-18. Any faster or in the hills your looking at 15-16.5mpg. In the city i'm around 12. Towing heavy your around 9 or 10mpg.
While I just picked up my '09 F-250 CC SB 4x4 6.4 3.73's and have yet to tow, I have seen 18mpg on the computer consistently at 65mph on flatlands. I figure since it is still being broken in, it can only get better from here. This is similar to the mileage I was getting on my '06 powerstroke.
I had to eat some crow when I bragged about my MPG numbers using the message center numbers. Instead of getting 18-19 empty, I actually get 15-17 when I hand calculate.
18 is easily possible on these trucks but not many of us get it!

Hey guys, I appreciate the replies. The reason I had posted this was because I had test driven one that got 40 pounds of boost and 2 others that only got about 32 and I was trying to figure out why that one had more. After talking to the service advisors and reading your replies it sounds like its all controlled by the computer. It was a hot, dry day when I drove the one that got 40. It had just rained and was almost dark when I drove the other 2 and probalbly 20 degrees cooler and 100% humidity.
