restifying a '75 Explorer
My little '75 is a bone stock original right now.I'm going to rod the 300 a bit(cam/intake & 4bbl/headers)but would like to retain the original look(save for the wheels)outside/inside.The truck has the rubber mat inside,it's a brown/black mix.Does anyplace reproduce the same colored mat?Also does anyplace make the Explorer stripe kit;mine is the boss looking stripe that goes over the hood & runs back high on the body-not the ones that run along the bottom/over the wheelwells.Thanks.

In the years I've been a part of this forum, the best answer for the striping seems to be to get a local shop to make them for you. Even if you found some old ones on a shelf, they wouldn't be usable. The other option is to get them painted on. Good luck with your resto.
