Any one here know if the E-series van frames are the same as our truck frames?

quite simply, no. They are wider, the steering box setup and location are different, thr front frame is considerably shorter. They also don't bump up at the rear for the box.

thanks for the replies, it was just a notion that struck me before I was going to bed, I just put my motorhome in storage, and while I was driving it it sounded like the exhaust manifold was starting to leak again, I thought of how freakin hard it was to change last time, and thought it would be nice if I could throw a truck cab under the front of it, make the engine easier to work on....
