Need some wheel application help
Besides my 66 F100 I also have a 65 Galaxie 2drhdtp 352. I am working with a guy on another forum who has just finished converting his 65 Galaxie to front disks from a 78 Cougar. The problem is his 65 wheels won't mount on the Cougar hubs because the center hole of the 65 wheel is to small. He wants a 15 inch wheel with the correct bolt pattern and hub diameter. The idea is to have a stock looking steel wheel that will accept his original 65 large diameter wheel covers. I think the 78 Cougars came with something other than the standard steel wheels of old. Does anyone know what wheel he should search the pick/pulls for? Thanks.
