Faded vent window *****/latches
Anyone know of anything that will bring back the black luster on the vent window and door handles?
Mine are all white looking and I've tried Armor All and such, but it only lasts for a day or so and then turns white again.
I'm looking for a longer term fix. Maybe a heat gun? I've heard that you can bring the oils back to the surface with some heat.
Anyone every tried it?

They will just continue to turn white. You can spray them with flat black trim paint made to paint exterior hard plastic mouldings. It is available at discount auto parts stores in a spray can.

There is some stuff they use on like jet ski's and boats with gel coats, try a marine store.

Stosh...Try some.."Trim Shine"...made by STONER...I get mine at OReilly's..Worked wonders on my Jeep that sat out in the Florida sun..Might take 2-3 applications...but it's spray on...like Tire Shine..which they also make...j

I use a product called "303" on all my vinyl and plastic. Never was impressed with ArmorAll. I buy "303" at a marine supply, not cheap but I think it's worth it.
303 did wonders for the floor vents and kick panels I salvaged from a Kearney, Nebraska yard.
Might help on the *****. When I replaced my vent window I only used the glass and frame from the donor truck.
