Well I thinka ll of you know I had an engine built by BTS. Long story short, i drove down, installed it and on the way home kept loosing water....hydrolocked I think its called and woudnt turn over, pulled the engine and sent it back to brian, turns out i had a pin hole in cylinder 3 and a bend valve still in cylinder 1. brian built me a new engine just like the one I had, new valve seats, cryoed heads, incontel valves (however theyre spelled), ne valve guides and so on. after almost 2 months of him having this it left to come home tuesday june 9th. Tina hasnt gotten back to me with the tracking number yet but i pretended a was going to send a package from him to me lastnight and it said if I sent it out lastnight he would receive it this Friday, So I am hoping i get it Friday!

I cant wait to actually run this thing longer then my tiring 16 hour trip home.

Just so yall know, shipping both ways, new valves, all head work, new pistons(one marked up from bend valve, gave me a new set) and cryoing of new block and heads EVERYTHING was paid for out of his pocket, I was surprised head work was, but he refused to let me pay for it...told me it shoulda been done right thew first time when I paid my bill.... Other then it taking 8 weeks or so to get it all together I am still very happy with BTS work and costumer service.

Think ill have to make it to their black-out race in August!

 

I thought they only did tranny's.

Now that right there is customer service! If I go to Afghanistan then I will most certainly have him build me a tranny (only way I can afford it). I've heard nothing but good about Brian.

Sorry bud, but I'm guessing an engine is more than just a normal package. There's a good chance you won't see it till the first part of next week. Big heavy stuff tends to take a day or two longer unless it's shipped LTL to a business address.

 

It is too a buissness address. when I sent it there it left friday and they had it tuesday. I did a quote check on fedex FRIEGHT not GROUND and it said if something leaves lead hill on a tuesaday It will be at woodbine md to my work on friday.

 

Congrats, I also hope it lasts longer then the first, always sucks to have your baby broken down. I also did not know Brian did engines

I looked around from it Kenny but it was already boxed up on Monday. Sent out Tuesday before I got back to the shop. That was a bumb deal with the other motor, but you'll be straightened out now. Well, hopefully...

Just break it in before blowing it up on the track right away!!
