I agree with Pat. Jack your tire up off the ground, get a long pry bar and stick it under the tire. Try to lift it up and down, if you have any movement then you need to do this. click here
I try to follow any threads like this because the same thing happened to me. It used to happen only about once a week when I first got my truck. It has not happened for almost a year now. I guess the truck got over its illness?
Anyway, I have yet to see a definite answer to the problem. Most threads point towards the front end parts. U joints are a logical explanation. I don't recall who but someone said air in the PS/PB lines???
I didn't do anything to correct the issue because I couldn't find anything to correct. Also had the dealer inspect it. If they couldn't find a reason to take more of my money I guess I'm alright with that.
Im thinking I have the same problem, but boy does that ball joint replacement look
complex, I'm not sure im up to tackling that on my own yet. Is it as hard as it looks?
