Your door is ajar light
Lately upon entering my 04 F350 the "door ajar" light stays on. Sometimes it goes off in a few seconds, other times it stays on for the duration of my trip. To answer the easy question, no the door is not open, hehe. Anyone else ever experience this type of problem or have any ideas on a remedy? As always, thanks for any and all suggestions.

I had that problem with my 2001 SuperDuty and my dad also on his Excursion. Inside the door mounted on the lock / latch mechanism is a little push button switch with a wire connector. On mine I had to replace it. On his we just took it off and found it was stuck. We cleaned and lubricated it and never had the problem again.
