I am familiar with the ARB air lockers, but I'm hoping to find a true electric.
I have a 4.10 open at the moment with an empty upfitter switch. Would like to have the option to lock the rear on a 4x2, and not have to deal with increased friction on turns.
I would like the same upgrade on my truck but to my knowledge no one makes am electric locker for the rear axle. Many people are using the Eaton Truetrac and consider it to be the best differential for the rear axle.
Has anyone tried to install the new ford electronic diff into an older Ford axle? If so did it work? I am debating about buying the e-locker from Ford and putting into my 2002 F-350 SRW.
Well I been calling everyone I know and so far everyone says it should work in theory. Just kind of hesitant to drop that much $ without a positive YES. But I will let you know.
