Another vibration issue
I'm getting a front and vibration but its not consistent. The vibration only starts when I hit a small bump in the road, then it starts. It seems to come fom the driver side front. When I stop and then take off on smooth road its fine until the next bump.
Here is what I have replaced:
New:
Upper and lower ball joints
Tie rod end inner (outer check by shop are ok)
Tie rod sleeve
Right side bearing hub assy
Tires
Brakes and rotors
Sway bat links and bushings
shocks
I have remove the hub assy due to them being frozen on both sides, I don't thnk that should cause any of the problems.
What I have noticed is there are rub marks on the u-joints on the short shaft for the 4x4. I beleive the rub mark is from the grease fitting on the ball joint. The passenger ball joint fitting has been sheared off, maybe from the u-joint? The shaft for the 4x4 should not be rotating anyways, I already removed the hubs to make sure of it.
I have put too much money into this issue and still can't find the problem, I will listen to any help.
