Reassembling the axles
I'd like to put my 9" back together this weekend, and have a few questions. I know how to finish the diff & gears & stuff, but what about the axles? There are 4 nuts that hold the brakes & bearing plate on to the axle housing itself. Is there any preload or troque specs for these? Can I just use my electric impact wrench and crank 'em on? I didn't replace the bearings or anything, just messed with the diff.
