Tranny Leak Issues...

Hello my name is Donavan. I own a 1987 bronco xlt. I am currently having issues with a tranny leak that appears to be coming from the seal between tranny and transfercase. From my knowledge it is the C-6 tranny, 3 speed no overdrive... I was wondering if anyone had any detailed knowledge of what needs to be removed for the replacement and how to remove for Im not one with much knowledge of part names and such. Or if there is a how to site or a site with diagrams...

I haven't done it myself, but I'm thinking that you have to drop the transfer case. Sorry it took soooooo long to get a response, we've all been really busy with more relevant responses.

I would advice getting a service manual so when somebody actually tells you, you will be able to see wich parts that someone is mentioning... and welcome!.

If a response is given but not read, is it of any use?

No response was given until yesterday, almost 5 months, is that of any use?

It's all useless if it's not used. (useless is the opposite of useful).
