You should be able to run at least a 31" Mud Tire with that ammount of lift. You may have to do some slight fender trimming though.....

You better cut at least 6-9" to be safe on those front fenders........

I'd reccomend getting some different gears like some 2.27s or so.....

please tell me you guys are kidding and that the OP knows you are kidding...with a 6" lift you should clear 36s without trimming...

my 95 runs 31s bone stock and i could stuff a geek in between the tire and fender...not promoting bullying or anything

haha i was going to say, maybe he was talking of lowering it 6in and still trying to fit 31's under there, than he'd have to cut 6-9in off the fenders haha, but no 36's should fit and maybe even 38's

2.47s should definately be plenty for a lift and big tires, and your fuel economy should be absolutely STELLAR!

I agree completely. Hell, you might even have to worry about snapping axles with that beast.

36s and i would put way higher gears than 2.47. theres plenty of calculators that help you figure what gears you need to go to.

my 2.73's just seem to short for my 29's

Anyone know of anything lower than 2.47 in a 9" or 8.8?

When i go to 39's i need something taller!!

if youre going 39s depending on your engine/trans. you will probably need 5.13...this also depends how you want the truck to react...a calculator will only tell you what gears you will need to get it back to its original ratio from there you need to decide weather thats good or weather you want better economy or more power

in your case i suggest when you use a calculator instead of putting your ratio as 2.73 put 3.55 then it will calculate your ratio to get you the proper gears to get close to that since you font like the ones that are in it now

I agree. Except I'd run the 39's, then throw the 2.47's in the front axle and the 5.13's in the rear.
