I've read alot of posts concerning this problem and I have a good idea of what to look for. When I look at the canister, I see a hose coming out of it on the drivers side, but on the passenger side I see what looks like an outlet with no hose on it. I've tested the wires at the solenoid under the hood, and it appears to be ok. How do you take it apart to check for blockages (Idon't see any kinks in the line , front to back)? I put a new gas cap on and added petroleum jelly to the gasket for S&G's and the gas cap light went off, but the check engine light is still on. Help!!!!!
BTW its a 2003 F150, 5.4 gas.
