Engine Noise

I've got a 2005 5.4L screw with 36K and change on the clock. I've got what can best be explained as a rattle coming from the front driver side of the engine. It definitely sounds external to the engine. Could I have a bad bearing on a pulley or something? Any other ideas? Truck seems to run fine.

Some sort of Heatshield loose? I know some have had small rocks and pebbles getting sandwiched in those nooks and crannies...

Do you notice it just in motion or during idling too?
