F250 4x2 front spring length
I tried the suspension forum, but got no answer,
maybe someone here knows.
My front springs (coil, for '77 F250 2wd)
are different lengths, the passenger side
about 3/4" shorter than drivers side. Enough to make the
pass. side sit noticeably lower. The compressed lenths are
about 14" on pass. side and 14.75" on drivers. I've seen new
spring sets with loaded lengths ranging from 11.5 to 14.85".
And these always have the pass. side longer, not the driver side.
Do I need to get new springs? If so what is the proper length?
I've had to resort to those coil inserts to bring up the pass. side.
