Hey Guys,
Has anyone retrofitted a later model crank down spare tire carrier instead of the lame bracket unit from the factory? I am thinking about trying it on my 95 if possible.

Am curious about this too...have had the spare in the bed since I bought the truck, have gotten the stuff to remount it underneath (haven't gotten around to actually doing it), but would rather do a crankdown style one if somebody has a good idea how to retro one.
