I'm looking to mod my truck a bit more. I will be able to afford some parts, but not quite a new engine if I window a block. What kind of power are these engines capable of holding without any large risk of blowing up?
With better valve springs and head studs though. Would 400hp or so be considered a safe level?
Thanks, Adam. I'm getting live tuned by DP at RiffRaff East so good tuning shouldn't be an issue.
Now it's just an issue of cash for toys. Haha.
Yikes! when my engine blew the pistons were looked at and beleived to have 31* of timming compaired to the 17* it should have. needless to say I no longer have the tuner.
