exhaust options

have been thinking about doing a 4" exhaust and my uncle says why you dont do a 5" . anyone know if a 5 really makes a difference?

5" is a little tougher with clearances. The main difference is sound, unless you are pushing mega HP then the 5" makes a difference.

Alot of guys run the 5inch, some with clearance issues, some not, but like Jim mentioned above, 4inch seems to be good. Great sound my MBRP duals put out..

well since my truck is a repo truck i can only use single exhaust. i am looking at doing mods but nothing internal to the motor. so i dont see doing major hp or torque. nothing more than 600

My MBRP is a single exhaust. It was a good price and all SS, turbo back. It sounds great too!

EDIT: It is the 4" BTW

You can only use a single exhaust, one pipe off the turbo. I was refering that my single exhaust splits into two after the rear axle. To get 600 HP you'll need some internals, thats for sure.

not 600 hp 600 torque that can easly be done without internals
