Very leaky steering gear
a few weeks ago i got my steering gear changed on my truck 03 6.0 a couple days later there was a big puddle of oil under my truck i got looking and found it coming from one of the lines going into the steering gear i pulled the line and the o-ring was split i thought nothing of it put a new o-ring in and away i went it lasted for 2 weeks then started leaking again i put another o-ring in and this one only made a day now i am stumped on what is causing this o-ring to fail over and over it was a jobber steering box the tech at ford said the box was actually for a 99 super duty does any one no if there were any differences in the steering boxs my parts guys books show that it is the same box from 99-04 any ideas what is going on
