Neutral Safety Problem/Repair
My 1994 f250 HD 4x4 has a 351 Cleveland and Auto Trans with 34K miles. The truck would not start in park. It statred in neutral but when I shut it off, once again ot wouldn't start in park and sometines will not start in neutral either.
Is this the neutral safety switch and if so how hard to change and how much will it cost to get if I have it done?

I have no idea what tranny you have, since it sounds like all this stuff was swapped in. But, luckily Ford most of the time put the neutral safety switch around the lever that goes into the driver's side of the tranny on most of their automatics. Look for a plastic piece(the switch) with wires coming out of it were the lever goes in. Take the lever off, unbolt the plastic piece, and it should slide off.
