Welcome to FTE
The tool box was an option on all 1973/79 F100/150/250/350 long bed Styleside pickups (except with a 140" wheelbase).
There was only one type, one part number, so...it was used on all.
It did not come with any package.
The 140" wheelbase was used on 1973/79 F350 Super Camper & Trailer Specials.
The spare tire mounts behind a hinged door on the right quarter panel (bedside) in front of the rear wheel, where the tool box was installed on other long bed Stylesides.
Alright thanks for the info I was just wondering because I'm looking for a 79 and I have seen a few with it but more without of and didn't know if it was custom or not
