418 stroker questions

hey there,
i currently have a 250 v10 offroad toy. im tossing around the idea of buying a 418w stroker for my baby and was wondering what the maintinence would be like on it compared to a normal motor. as of now its my daily driver but its not technically street legal. i have a '91 250 that im fixing up now so it can be my daily driver. my truck will be in mudbogs and 4x4 parks and was just wondering what all i would have to do to maintain this motor and it not be a pain in the *** doing stuff everytime after i drive it. i know general motor work but when it gets down to timing and knitty gritty motor work im not so familiar with it. thanks for the help guys you are all lifesavers.

Use premium fuel, octain booster, or some 110 mix when you take it out. Bump the timing up to 14 ,K&N air filter, synthetic oil.I don`t know what YOUR doin` but I like to gun it on a hump to get some air time.

A stroker motor won't need any more maintenance than a stock motor once it's installed and setup, put gas in it and change the oil regularly. The problem with this particular motor is it's based on the old pushrod 5.8 block so it will require some custom work to mount it in this truck and a different transmission, so it's not at all a quick or cheap project.
