rear locker or posi?
i am wanting to do something with my "limited slip" rear end on my '02 F.150 FX4. because we all know that in fact, all they do is slip. i want to punch the throttle and have both tires break loose. i also do some off-roading with my truck. I just wondered how i should go about it, what brands worked well, and how hard it would be to do myself. thanks!

I would suggest Eaton Automotive's Detroit Locker, they've been making locking rear differentials since my dad's heyday back in the 70's and 80's and are the industry leader in performance differentials. cost: about 3-$600
that's what i have to say for brand as in difficulty, i wouldn't think that it's a direct bolt on replacement. after replacing the rear diff i'm sure you'll have to check back lash and to see if everything lines up correctly.
