I put one in a e40d the other day it wasnt that hard. it was the B&M kit from summit.It shifts a little harder but better doesnt search for a gear when you let off the gas and the MPG's went up about two miles per gal. Keep things clean if you do it torque the valve body to In.Lbs not Ft.Lbs. same with the pan and put a drain plug in while your at it good luck.
