Weatherstrip Question
I just noticed that the weatherstip kit I got from JBG came with both the "on cab" and "on door" rubbers. I have a 77 F250 and I know the "on door" rubbers are for 78 and 79 trucks and broncos. My question is, what is the difference of the doors that you need a rubber for the top of the door? Also, can I install the "on door" weatherstipping for added protection? Any help/info is greatly appreciated.

I believe that the door seals were an added water/air barrier.They were a little known option on these trucks at build time.There is a good write up on these seals,and how to install them.Use the search function and type in weatherstrip.About 9 or 10 pages in there is a thread entitled"78-79 weatherstripping.Take a look,good information.
