Slushbox or gearbox?
It's bout time to tear out my 84 F 150's automatic overdrive tranny. i's thinkin bout throwin in a 4 speed T 18 or 19 tranny. I know i gotta throw in a clutch and pedal and different driveshaft. Or I could get me a remanufactured AOD with new torque convertor and shift kit for bout 550. I know manuals are good for towing and suck in traffic but a shift kitted auto can hold its own in pullin stuff. I wanna know y'alls thoughts about this transformatoin and what do y'all think? slushbox or gearbox?
