Ammeter installation

Just to be sure, which of these would represent my truck?
B is the battery, A is the alternator, S is the starter/solenoid, and I is the ign. switch. I picked #7 but, thought I'd ask just in case.

Ah, drool. I wish I had something to tempt you into a trade with. That's a gorgeous truck. You ever going to swap out that gear ratio for something a little steeper? If you ever need I6 exhaust ideas, look thru my YouTube. I see you plan on messing with the exhaust somewhat.

If you post this in the Electrical forum, Franklin2 will definitely know. I'm a little sketchy on the ammeter wiring for 73-79s. That diagram is also somewhat unconventional. I know you didn't ask this, but a voltmeter is a much better tool to use because an ammeter can't tell you a whole lot.

I second what FMC400 said.
You can refer to him as the "Burning Bush" if you like. I do.

A voltage gauge is a more reliable and a less hazardous way to go.
