Morning Wyoming...it's a great day to be above ground...despite the rain!!!

 

Good morning Ken. Had another long night of rain here. We have been really dry here for the past ten years and the past few weeks have really been helping.

 

My daughter called today to inform me that she is scheduled for induced labor in the morn so will have to leave early. I got to listen to the baby's heart beat over the telephone today........gives you a perspective on life it does. Will try to get on as soon as I get back and know anything.

I would guess that regardless of what the weather is doing someone would find something to complain about. For me I' am just about sick and tired of being wet...........I never thought I would hear myself say this but I want sun for just a bit at least. At least when I was complaining about it being dry I was still able to ride my bike. I have not even been on my bike this year yet. May have to invest in rain gear.

Congratulations Orin. Hope everything goes well. Rained all night again and my lawn grew 2 inches yesterday. The good news is, the seed I sowed is sprouting everywhere.

 

Morning Miles. Looks like you need to rent a combine to do some lawnwork!

 

Starting to look like it. I am going to stick to inside work for a while. I have a little bit of trim to put up and hopefully the blinds we ordered come in so we can have a bedroom again.

 

I'm hoping the kid can get the mowing done today before we leave for vacation tomorrow, otherwise I'll be in the same boat you are! I still need to get to the tile on the fireplace in the family room one of these days. I'm thinking that's going to end up a fall job, summer is too busy!

 

Where is vacation Pat? Sounds like fun.

 

We're heading out tomorrow, just til monday, to Calmus reservior. It's about 180 miles west of here. I sure hope it's fun, half of the forecast for the weekend say cool and rainy, the other half say dry and near 80. Idiot fortunetellers can't get there stories straight.

 

Good fishing at Calmus? I Reminds me, that I need to drop a line sometime soon.

I am hoping for sun for a change. There is a tornado warning just south of here right now and heavy rain projected for the next three days.

 

I'm not sure Miles, never been there. I'm just hoping the weather doesn't suck, which I have a bad feeling it will. If it does, we'll be home saturday.

 

I just got done watching "Taking Chance". Anybody else here seen it? If not... highly recommended.
