well my Fathers day plans have changed, last night we took my Father to the Emergency room for high blood pressure, they got it stabilized and we were home by 01:00 this morning. then he called my at 09:00 this morning and said he thought he had a stroke as he couldn't control his left arm and wanted me to drive him to the hospital. I hung up on him and called 911 and got an ambulance to take him. it turned out to not be a stroke but a Transient Ischemic Attack (TIA). he is still in the hospital for more testing and observation.

I had to Look up TIA...its the precursor for a stroke...
so they can give him meds to prevent a stroke?
I will keep him in my thoughts...if you need anything, you have my number!

Up date.
cat scan done, MRi done, MRA done, ultra sound done. nothing found except left side of heart enlarged from pumping blood under high pressure. no artery problems no clotting. doctor did prescribe a stronger blood pressure medicine and something for cholesterol ( this also helps to prevent strokes). I brought him home at 2:00 pm today. looks like a warning from God to take the blood pressure medicine like the doctor said.
