Crew cab is the way to go. Went from a SC to CC not quite 2 years ago, wife's idea, really had to twist my arm. LOL. Can be a little tough to get in tight spots, worth the extra room.

I know most of us already know this, but it is a lot easier to back these beast in then it is pull them in a lot of spaces...

Yes it is! You do have to be a little selective when parking, but it's not a big deal. I can sure use the exercise walking across the parking lots! I love the extra room! I have an 02 CC long bed.
Good luck on your search.. Are you looking as you travel, if so, where are you heading next, maybe we an look for you as you enter a town..
The only down fall to the crew cab is carpet cleaning it.. it takes nearly 3 hours.. I love my CC LB..
I looked last nite online, dealer in oh. has one, an '02 but it's black. Price is reasonable but I won't own another black truck. I'm not in no real hurry to get one, one will show up when the time comes.
All the newer gen. trucks seem easier to back into parking spots than to pull in nose first.....My 07 Dodge Quad cab only rarely gets parked nose in,and its only when i have lots of space.....None of these newer trucks have good over the hood/front fender visibility like the old "box" body styles......I really do miss the front visibility, along with the 8-11 mpg of the 60's to 90's fullsizes.....
I'm single (and probably always will be!! woohoo!!) but I have dogs, and do alot of driving. The dogs snooze on the back seat, or on a really long trip, I'll catch a nap back there myself. I'll always have a Crew.
