tinkerin'
1. The overhead duct had a "barnyard" smell. Not overpowering but unpleasant. So I yanked the rear blower motor and overhead registers and commenced to spraying diluted bleach and citrus "veggie wash" into them. No more smell.
2. The pass side back seat wouldn't slide forward when you tilted it. Found both brackets that release the seat bottom were bent. They bent back very easily which I found out after using overwhelming force (a hammer)--it broke a couple of the plastic retainers--then I used a pair of channel locks and put them back in order. Fixed.
3. The drivers seat was no comfortable because the outside foam had broken down from too many big fellas sliding out sideways. It sort of felt like I had a gangster lean going on all the time. So I unhooked the front of the seat cover and shoved the innards from a terry cloth sponge on top of the factory foam. Fixed (at least for this season--I'll fix it for real this winter when I yank the interior for body mount replacement and sound deadener).
It's a good day.
Oh, forgot to mention that I added a couple circuits for a friend of mine who owns an auto shop and he's going to install my rear sway tomorrow in trade.
Here's one of the little stumps:

Oh, that grinder is 10.5' long, almost 5' tall, weighs 4,300 lbs, and has a 60 hp turbo diesel, all controlled by wireless controller. (And I get paid to play with it? hehe)
That monster took 1.5 hours all by itself.
