cruise control!!!

hey i have a 1990 f 250 and cant figure out why the cruise wont work i checked the fuse and its fine anyone have any ideas? thanks!

Check the vacuum valve on the brake pedal.

i have a 5.0L with a five speed. and do you mean the brake booster? my brakes are fine.

No there should be a vacuum valve on your brake pedal inside the cab. Has nothing to do with brake operation but will keep the speed control from working.

could also be the brake light switch ( have you done a safety check lately to make sure your brake lights are not staying on all the time?)
