I keep records of my MPG in a spreadsheet and I noticed that my MPG is down since they reprogrammed my Job 1 truck
Bob-tailing - down 0.6 MPG
Towing 10k fiver - down 1.2 MPG (But for one trip the headwinds were fierce coming home) I'll know better by late July after the family and I get back from our summer road trip.
Job 3 F450 with 4.3's. My lie-o-meter shows 1.5mpg reduction overall. Same type of around town driving. Towing heavy loads is identical...about 6-7mpg at 75-80mph cruising speed.
I saw the same thing with the re-flash, MPG dropped from 16's to 13's. Took it back to dealer, they basically said "sucks to be you". No codes / no problem.
I am pondering taking it down the road to another dealer. I like the truck but the next truck needs to come from a dealer with support. I would even change brands for a better dealer.
Mine is worse too. I could get 16 prior to the flash and now I am lucky to hit 13 on the highway with the cruise set to 63-64 mph. Most of the time its about 11. Took it to the dealer twice. 1st time I got it back the OASIS said "vehicle not rated for MPG by Ford or EPA" so they didnt even look at it. After raising hell with them they claimed to have checked fuel trims, codes, and even a road trip all in about 2 hours time and according to my trip odometer their road trip was 1.2 miles to diagnose a mileage concern. Of course nothing is wrong and my truck is perfect.
Im at 6k miles, already had my DPF replaced once and now my tailpipes are getting black again. Time for a new dealer.
