Problem!!!

Fellas,
got in the truck this morning to go get bagels and the paper. started the truck stepped on the brake and the shifter wouldnt go into Drive. released the pedal and tried again and nothing. two or three times more and it finally moved. What can that be???

Physical barrier......check the linkage. Or an intermittant wire at the BOO switch. If the computer doesn't know that you have your foot on the brake, it won't shift.

Brake lights are workin fine. I had to dismantell the steering colum in the Lowes parking lot and manually assist the mechanism to allow it to shift. Made for fun times while my truck was taking off with me laying on my back in the floor.
