Ford "silver" Keyless+remote start help needed

Finding a hot deal on ebay a new sealed kit #2WZ2-19G364-BA for 100.00 I had to do it. Its going in my 1992 EB 5.8. A few questions to anyone who has installed one of these factory units...

1) Under the dash what is the best mounting point for the head unit?? reading an online ford manual it says zip tie it to the vehicles wiring harness.. I was thinking something more along the lines of screwing it to the firewall but tell me what you guys have done.

2) Since mine does not have the alarm system, can I basically just forget about any wires that would go to, or have something to do with an alarm?
Or are there any wires that need to be hooked up?

3) For the HVAC outputs on the car start harness, Does one go to the heater blower motor and where would the other one go? (I'm guessing I only need one)

4) The one way diodes, where do they go and how are they supposed to be wired in?

5) When talking polarity of the circuit, for example door locks. Where the mini fuse plugs into the head unit, it has an option to move it to + or - how does a guy know which one to put it into??

Thanks in advance everyone!
