Anybody good at identifying trees?

I have this tree in my backyard and for the life of me I can not figure out what it is, here are some pics.

Anybody know what it is? Thanks.

I'm gonna W.A.G. sycamore.
My wife will know, but she isn't home until late tonight.
I'll have her look at it tomorrow if no one else has answered definitively by then.

The wife ( a registered Landscape Architect) says she thinks it is a Catalpa tree.
Does it grow long seed pods - like string beans- about 12 inches long? If so, that cements it as a catalpa.

Yep, I agree with ckal. It does look like a catalpa. Late spring is when they flower.

No seed pods yet, just those flowers right now. It's about 15ft tall, growing next to a small stream.

I am not sure what it is either BUT...it is not a Catalpa tree. They have heart shaped leaves. I have seen the same type of tree growing in KY and the leaves get HUGE, over a foot long.

Nope, not a Paw Paw either. They have rosebud type red flowers. Got me stumped. May be a transplant from somewhere.
