Question Original Radio

I have a '08 250 crew cab 6.4l. I love this truck, but I have a question on the radio. I purchased this used and was told the original owner replaced the radio with aftermarket and then put an "original radio" back before he sold it. This truck has the steering audio controls but I can not control the radio through the controls. The cruise works and so does the climate control buttons. I have removed the radio and the wiring all looks original but the radio will only take two plugs, and a third plug from the factory wiring is just there, no place to plug it in. This truck does have Sat which works great. The radio is only a single CD instead of 6-cd which I have seen on the internet to have three plugs in the back, does that matter? Can anyone tell me the radio part number I need to so I can get the truck back to original? Thanks<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o></o>

It's programming. Search this forum or Diesel Stop, I can't remember which, but there was a thread about this company that will program your factory radio for the options that are in your truck, like steering wheel controls, audiophile, etc. If my poor memory serves me correctly, I think you have to have your Ford dealership send in the unit for reprogramming as this company , by contract, can only deal with dealerships.
